I am Happy...

As in my previous post I talk about how things were going, life is on the up and up for me. Yesterday I did what I knew was right in my heart, I asked my girlfriend to marry me. It’s what I want, has been for a while, just had to put all the pieces together to get there. I can say I am truly happy with her, and this is just another step in our evolution in life towards complete happiness. Some ask I was nervous, and I can honestly say I was not. The thought of the events that took place made more excited than anything since I have never done it before. The process of talking to my parents, talking to her parents, getting a ring, trying to figure out how to propose in a manner that was me, and then going thru with it. It was fun for me to try and surprise her, since she is a naturally snoop and trying to cover up my tracks was more of an adventure than anything.
Yes yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day, and a great day I was, I got engaged, then got drunk.. Really drunk.. This morning was a nightmare. Had a great time, something to remember for the rest of my life, and that is what life is about right. Making memories to relive and cherish for the rest of your life. I could go on and on about how I feel right now, but my headache is returning, and I don’t know if I concentrate much more this morning.. So I will leave it at this:
I am Happy, I am in love, I am excited, and I am loved, what else could I possible ask for?

Been busy....

Well it’s been a while since my last rant, many things have happened in the course of the last few months that has defiantly made things entertaining and exciting. Since New Years there has been the Martial Art Tournament, new car, and a new look on life.

Some may ask what is the Martial Arts Tournament? What is it? Do you fight each other? Well to best describe what it is, basically is one painful drinking game. You venture to a little town east of Watertown New York, were I meet up with all my college mates and basically play a game of war using cards with rules. You lose you drink, you lose again you drink, and so on… You have two jokers in your deck, one is played and you do shots. Now after all your 54 cards are gone, you can choose to do a power up… a “Shooter” But that’s only the first round. Second you have to due 3 shooters, and so on as the rounds continue. There has been an average of 12-14 people who attend annually with new faces each year. 4 rounds are played to determine a winner. But you can only power up once per round, so if you have used your power up, now you must drink a glass of death, or otherwise called “a Spirit Bomb.” This is no ordinary drink; it’s a mix of many different alcohols in an extremely large glass cup. There are three ways to loose. You run out of cards, you do your shots, run out again, choose to quit or do a spirit bomb. You do the spirit bomb, and then loose all your cards; you are out of the competition. OR you at any time hear a rumble in your stomach and you throw up, are eliminated. This year’s competition was great, everyone took part, and for the most part everyone was a disaster the rest of the night. Fortunately for me I made it to the final round, to have my opponent throw up sitting at the table we were playing at. So I won, brought home the “Kiaser Cup”. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately my girlfriend was unable to attend this year, but she did attend last year which I was proud to include in my out of town activates for once. There are pics from the event, yet my buddy had not made them available yet to the public, will update the sight when I get them.

Next comes the new car… Yes folks I have another new car under my belt. I have a disease; it’s hereditary and comes from my father. I like cars, I like to drive them for a year then I sick of them and want another one. I have had many cars in my life already, a lot more than most have in a lifetime. Recently I was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix GT2.

Lets just say it was not one of my more preferred rides. Just to many things happened with that car that I would like to forget. Any way, so for the last two weeks I have been wheeling and dealing looking for a way out, and found one. The Buick Rainer!

I will admit it was not my first choice; the Buick Lucerne had caught my eye first. It’s a large car that seats a family of 4 more comfortably then most cars on the road, but alias it was not in the cards. Instead I drove the Rainer, and know the minute I sat in it, it would be mine! And well it is, I picked up my New 2006 AWD Rainer yesterday. I am happy, my girlfriend is happy, all around happiness is spreading… and there is more to come… What that is, well you will just have to wait and see… Hee Hee Hee...
