Darts...

Well it's finally over, Darts that is...
For the last, god ummm.. 6 months we have played darts for AJ's bar every Tuesday night . And let me say it is a long 6 months. Darts is a good excuse to get out once a week and meet up with you buds and kick back a few beers while indulging yourself in a friendly 12 rounds of darts. At first it's fun, the excitement of playing each week in the hopes of winning against other bars. The idea of beating bars that are known to be great dart teams is always in the back of your mind. But that is all a fantasy since this we were in the wrong division. Last year we played for Third Base Bar and Grill, it wasn't a great season, but we did end up sixth or fifth in the end of our division Tell One. This year we decided to move to another bar and play, but the teams got mixed up and we got put in the highest division Hood One. This division is the best of the best in this area, and always have there game face on. Unfortunately we didn't do to hot in this division. We end up 2nd to last place, we had our problems of having enough people to play each week, which cost us losing a bunch of games. But over all it was a better year, or at least I had more fun this year playing then last.
In the end there is a banquet, which the final two teams from each division play off to see who is the champs. There is food and of course $1 BEERS, which isn't to bad.
Most people go for the food and to watch the championship matches, but not us, we go for the beer and the title of best pyramid builders. Last year we built a 5 tier beer can pyramid between 5 of us. This year our goal was a 6 tier pyramid...

Here is just a Great shot of the team in the build process

You could say we accomplished our goal and had one hell of a time doing it. Once again Drew managed to knock over just in time as we were about to leave, then got yelled at for it... Sucker!
Thanks to all that played this year, it was a fun season, to bad we didn't really get any were. Hope next year is bigger and better..
